In the year 1980, Bassett graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She earned a diploma from The Yale School of Drama. In 1997, she married Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980, Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
